Birds Do the Strangest Things

Illustrated by Frith, Michael K. Part of the Random House Step-Up series of great non-fiction titles for early readers from the 1960s. Great info at about a 2nd-3rd grade reading level. Highly illustrated. Pictorial hardcover with no jacket, as issued. The cellophane started to peel along the front edge of the spine, and was repaired with scotch tape, but barely noticable. Some wear to top and bottom of spine and some more peeling cellophane on the back of the spine. But binding is tight and overall condition is very good. Random House, New York, 1965. 001986
