The New Yorker 1950-1955 Album

New Yorker album with nice color reproductions of 40 covers from 1950-1955, along with hundreds of cartoons. Quite good condition, however plastic protective covering was attached to book with acidic tape, causing discoloration to pastedowns and facing endpapers. A little toing to jacket, and a bit of wear to jacket extremeties, still quite nice. Artists represented include Peter Arno, William Steig, James Thurber, Charles Addams, Ludwig Bemelmans, and many others. Hardcover. Harper & Brothers, New York, 1955. 001752
