Fifty Christmas Poems for Children

Undated, but per previous seller's documentation (purchased from bookseller in Hay on Wye, Wales) first, dating to c.1923. Reddish boards with minimal wear. Woodcut plate with illustration, editor/publisher info pasted to front board. The title on paper pasted to spine shows some wear. Toning/darkening to pastedowns and endpapers as if from previously laid in non-archival paper, no longer present. Previous owner's name in ink on front free endpaper. Otherwise, internally clean save for a couple of spots of toning.foxing not affecting text. Very attractive copy particularly for the age. Basil Blackwell, 1923. 003673
